AFTER MASTECTOMY
We are a biotechnology company developing a donor-derived nipple areolar matrix for use in nipple reconstruction after mastectomy.
THe NEED
Current reconstruction methods create a nipple that loses projection, has little to no sensation, and requires a tattoo for pigmentation.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
NovoThelium has developed methods to process donor tissue to create a nipple areolar matrix. This matrix can be applied to the patient and cells from the patient can grow into the matrix to regenerate a nipple made from the patient's cells.
